A stunner in abalone, unmarked Neapolitan style bowl-back mandolin with extremely attractive visual elements. Featuring a finely grained spruce top, with thick bands of abalone surrounding rosette/trimming the top; fanciful inlaid pickguard holding viney pearl inlay; repaired top and back separations. The mahogany neck features fine engraved pearlwork on ebony fretboard, and on peghead overlay (some cracks in rosewood) in Fleur-De-Lis; recent refret seal the deal!
