This is an astounding like new guitar from the builders at Furch in the Czech Republic, a company that has been growing nicely over the last few years.
Astounding clarity, with defined bass response and crystal clear trebles, this is truly a jaw dropping dreadnaught.
Built with high attention to detail, the AA Sitka Spruce top is further tuned specifically with the bracing pattern - resulting in definition, sustain and "sweetness". Hand applied finish is semi gloss, which not only looks great, but furthers the vintage charm. It doesn't lack in modern sensibilities - this instrument features their CNR neck system, which includes a carbon encased dual action truss rod, which reacts smoothly and should remain solid for years to come. A metal alloy stabilizer to the neck heel further ensures the owner of its strong neck set.
This guitar is in great condition with only light signs of use. It has beautiful Indian Rosewood back & sides, that is fully bound. The neck is made of mahogany with a nice thick ebony fingerboard & medium frets. It has a 25.5" scale length, and is coupled with a comfortable 1 3/4" nut width. It is very easy to play with smooth low action. The neck has a comfortable C shape profile that measures .82" thick at the first position, and about .98" thick at the twelfth.
Furch is an environmentally conscious brand, practicing low carbon emissions and ethically sourcing all of their high quality woods.
All of this, and it includes their custom branded Hiscox hardshell case (slight musty smell from storage).
