This is a great playing, modern Martin with a beautiful sunburst finish, and herringbone trim in a most desirable size. The "000-28" has been a favorite amongst finger pickers worldwide. This example is in exceptionally fine with very little sign of use since it was purchased. The forever popular 000 size body is constructed with a spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. It has a broad dynamic range, allowing for nice balanced and warm finger style tones, to warm & bright chop when using a flat pick with chord work. Scalloped X bracing, it delivers a nicely opened up tone - even while having been used sparingly from the original owner. The modified low oval neck profile harkens to vintage models, with a bit of comfort for anyone with a slightly smaller hands. The 1 3/4" nut width lends itself to finger style which compliments the sonic quality of the smaller body size, but certainly rings when using a flat pick. This example is constructed with the shorter 24.9" scale length, joining the neck at the 14th fret.
Cosmetically, this instrument is like new with hardly a mark present. Clean frets, fingerboard and good action that measures 5/64" in height at the twelfth fret with an untouched saddle. A great way to save on a like new instrument.
Includes original hardshell case.
