A pretty decent strat for the player on a budget, here we have an early example of Fenders inexpensive Squier line from about 1987. Built in Korea, there is a lot of speculation about these early instruments, and whether or not they were using parts from the much higher Japanese models. What we can say, is that this is a great Strat on a budget. Nice 50's stylings, it has a Dakota Red finish, single ply white pickguard & knobs, and decent pickups with flat pole pieces (in a well aged cream-ish coloring). The all maple neck is in good shape and a slightly more narrow profile (good for smaller hands). Original Fender Gotoh tuners is a fun plus. All in all, a clean example from some time ago, cosmetically and in playability.
