A very nice intermediate level performance classical from Yamaha. The CGX 171CCA features is constructed with a solid American Cedar top, traditionally fan braced with laminate Indian rosewood back & sides, featuring a cutaway for easy upper register access. Yamaha outfitted these models with their two way piezo/microphone - with a control panel on its side for super adjustable tonal options for the stage. A 3 band EQ, master volume, piezo/microphone blend and a feedback notch make dialing in a very useable tone a breeze. The neck has a standard 650mm scale length with a slightly narrow 50mm nut width - making it a nice choice for someone looking for a crossover classical. The neck is made out of Nato with a rosewood fingerboard, joining the body at the 12th fret. Used, this guitar comes to us in very good condition, used sparingly by the original owner. Very mild surface wear present, the instrument functions as it should, the neck is straight with easy action that measures about 8/64" in height at the twelfth fret with an untouched saddle. Includes TKL hardshell case.
