William Schmick Camden NJ Lyric label, perhaps constucted by Vega, this is a very interesting tenor banjo with original top tension design and closed back, maple construction with a rosewood binding. A subtle flame in the pot indicates the care that was put into these builds. It is designed with a 20" scale length and 19 frets. A 9" head with an integrated resonator makes for a sweet tone that is perfect for swing. Featuring fancy Style 2 inlays on the peghead overlay and fretboard; mildly worn frets, with original friction tuners. Neck has only light forward relief, and plays with low action, with cosmetic scratching and scuffs present.
