Now 50+ year old conversion to five string (the rim having spent about as much time as an RB than as a TB), with Style 3 neck from storied Providence Guitar and Banjo, Rhode Island (Michael Allison, Leonard Coulson) from the 1970s. The 10-15/16" diameter Tubaphone rim assembly has all original hardware, new dowel stick made at time of conversion and is stamped; equipped with Vega armrest, repro No Knot tailpiece, Bart Reiter bridge. The three piece flamed maple neck has a 26-1/4" scale ebony fretboard with fancy inlaid pearlwork, 1-3/16" wide nut, equipped with Five Star planetary tuners. Some light finish dings and wear present, with light pitting on frets.
