Original example of a later Tubaphone No. 3 five string banjo; rim assembly features all original hardware and the fabled Tubaphone tonering; non-original Waverly tailpiece; some cosmetic wear on the neck and pieces of the ivoroid binding have been reglued. The neck has a 27" scale length, ebony fingerboard, fine heel carving, equipped with later period Grover style geared tuners, replaced 5th string nut. A fine playing, original five string banjo which is 100 years old for the same price as a modern banjo!! Included in sale is original period hard case with, some cosmetic wear)
