Solidly built Vega Little Wonder tenor banjo from the first quarter of the 20th century. The large sized 11-15/16" diameter rim assembly is all original with a simple rolled tonering, original hooks, nuts shoes (repro No Knot); some tarnish to metal parts, with finish wear on back. The twenty-one inch scale three piece maple neck has an ebony fingerboard, original frets (mild pitting present), with notable scratching and wear on back; 1-3/16" nut width; equipped with Champion friction tuners; pieces of binding have been reglued. Includes period case (lots of interior wear and tears to fabric inside).
