An unique banjo, presumably English, featuring a raw brass rim, with large square rim hardware. The 11" rim is most unusual, with an internal lip to form a tonering, with very chunky hooks and nuts; equipped with a gorgeous George Dobson stamped tailpiece. The 25-1/4" scale cherry neck, has an elongated slotted peghead, with individual geared tuners w/ engraved plates & bone buttons. Condition-wise, there are minor dings and scuffs on the neck, with light scratching and tarnish on the brass rim. Comes with a gig bag.
