The GT 811e features Taylor’s new Grand Theater body size. Like other models in the 800 Series, the 811e has a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. Taylor describes the sound as having “warm lows, pristine trebles and a slight scoop in the midrange—perfect for playing with vocals or other musicians.” It’s fitted with Taylor’s own ES2 Expression System pickup. The "neo-tropical" mahogany neck has 24.125" scale length Crelicam Ebony fingerboard, 1.719" nut width, 15 degree radius, and equipped w/ Taylor Smoked Nickel Mini tuning machines; fancy mother of pearl inlays.
