A lovely 12 string from the fine Japanese builders at Takamine!
The EF381 is a dreadnaught sized 12 string model, featuring a cutaway for easy upper register access. It's constructed out of a solid spruce top with maple back & sides, seen here in the forever cool black finish. The factory CT-4BII pickup system is well regarded amongst many players, complete with a 3 band EQ, and simple onboard tuner.
The neck is designed with a 25.4" scale length, with a 1 15/16" nut width. The neck is comfortable, and even with this example being 20 years old, it retains a proper neck angle yielding great playable action. The bridge is double pinned to the body, the saddle standing tall and untouched with over 8/64" visible above the slot - the action measuring a comfortable 5/64" in height of the twelfth fret of the sixth course, and 4/64" on the first. The frets are in like new condition as this guitar was likely not used too often by the original owner.
Cosmetically, this guitar is in very good shape with not much to say. Simple surface scratches, this guitar is in great condition, ready for the next stage.
Includes original hardshell case.
