Many modern classical players recognize the Japanese Takamine guitars for their high quality and craftsmanship. A great crossover nylon string instrument it is constructed with a solid Cedar top, with solid mahogany back. Cutaway for easy upper register access, this is a great instrument for a modern player, or anyone looking for a versatile classical at a reasonable price point. Outfitted with their flagship CT-4BII preamp, it has a surprisingly good tone for a piezo based pickup system. The neck is constructed out of mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard. It has a standard 650mm scale length, with a crossover slim 48mm nut width. The frets and fingerboard are in very clean condition, with low signs of use overall. Accurately dating to the year 20000, it is cosmetically very clean, and in good playing condition. Only surface level wear is present on the top, less some string bite behind the bridge. The neck is nice and straight with an appropriate neck angle, leading to very comfortable action measuring about 4mm in height at the twelfth fret. Includes original hardshell case.
