This is a very powerful 5 string banjo. It is a FORTY-SIX year old, "vintage" Geoff Stelling, White Star from the shop of this famous Virginia builder. The 11" block constructed clear maple rim is equipped with a low profile  no hole tonering, one piece nickel plated flange (some minor plating flaking), nickel tailpiece, and armrest; black bound, clear maple resonator. The 22 fret, 3 piece maple neck has a 26-1/4" scale, ebony fretboard with 1-5/16" wide nut; simple pearl inlay pattern on board, and peghead; equipped with 5 Star geared tuners. In fine ] shape with some very small cosmetic finish dings present throughout; no cracks or repairs. Currently set up with "Fiberskin" II head; Includes original hard case. This is a great playing, 46-year-old vintage banjo, from the no closed manufacturer.
