A stunning custom ordered presentation build from North Carolina builder Robert Anderson from 2019...a truly stunning example from the modern maker with lovely tonal richness. The 12" diameter rim is of cherry, with a Dobson Silver Bell style tonering, nickel plated hardware (grooved tension hoop, square-closed nuts, double pointed shoes), and a Pisgah Hawk tailpiece. The cherry neck has a dark ebony fingerboard, long back strap, and spectacular appointments; finely carved heel in Japanese maple leaf motif, engraved pearl koi fish on heel cap/guardian lions on either side of peghead and in long elaborate floral patterns on board, with scalloped bone nut; equipped with Gotoh planetary tuners.
