A modest Paul Reed Smith Custom 22 dating to 1995. Although used, this is in great condition with only light cosmetic wear present. The body is outfitted with the traditional maple cap and mahogany back - finished in dark black stain, with natural binding edgework. This example is fitted with the fender-esque tremolo, which shows only light wear to its sheen. This model is fitted with two fantastic sounding Dragon humbuckers and functioning rotary pickup control.
The satin'd maple/rosewood neck and setup are superb as one would expect with an instrument like this, with the unique 25" scale & bolt on neck design - making it a great counter part for any Strat enthusiast looking for something both bold and elegant. The neck is their "Wide Fat" profile that measures about .84" thick at the first position, and .94" at the twelfth, with a 1 11/16" nut width. The frets are in great shape with virtually no wear, and the action is low measuring about 4/64" height at the twelfth fret of the six string, and about 3/64" on the first string. It is outfitted with their original Gotoh locking tuners.
