Spectacular custom build from Pisgah Banjos, Asheville NC. This banjo was purchased new from us in 2024, and shows only light cosmetic wear and tear and includes a later hard case. We first met the founder Patrick years ago at one of the Banjo Collector's Gatherings, so we know he did his research. Pisgah Banjo Co. uses 100% solar power, and Native Appalachian hardwoods. This model features a 12" Cherry rim with brass Tubaphone tonering. All aged brass hardware is made by sister-company Balsam Banjo Works, including Hawktail tailpiece, and Schall style shoes & custom Mulheron bridge. The maple neck matches the rim wonderfully, and features a nice and modern Richlite fingerboard with an S-Style frailing scoop- helpful for any gigging player. 25.5" scale length, an elegant slotted peg head & Gotoh open geared tuners. A true joy to play with a focused, punchy and balanced tone.
