Nothing beats a vintage ukulele. For enthusiasts, its always impressive to see and hear these fine older small body instruments, as they put out a surprising amount of volume and when well maintained, a sweet tone that just doesn't exist on newer builds. Here we have a nice Style 2 Martin dating back to the early 1920's. At about 100 years old, this style 2 has been through the ringer. It arrived to us in need of repair, with its back completely separated and various top cracks. It really has came through the other side, and has been very well repaired, and now yielding easy playability, and a sweet unique century old tone. Repaired cracks are present on the top, namely near the treble side of the bridge. The back and sides were reglued together. We had to fabricate two replacement tuners as well - all of which making for a pretty cool instrument now, all for a really reasonable price for a vintage piece.
