The Martin D-18 is one of the most performed acoustic guitars on Earth, having been in the hands of nearly every singer songwriter of every era at some time. Industry standard dreadnaught design, it has a lot of power and bass response - perfect for flat pickers. It is constructed with a bound spruce top and mahogany back and sides. Internally, it has the standard scalloped X bracing and maple bridge plate. Tall ebony bridge with an untouched saddle. The neck is made of a nice mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard with simple MOP dot inlay. The neck is designed with a 25.25" scale length and __ nut width. The neck is straight, the action is low measuring a comfortable 5/64" in height at the twelfth fret, and the frets are clean like they've never been played. Cosmetically this guitar is in great shape with hardly a mark on it, only simple surface level scratches which probably are impossible to photograph. A great way to save on a like new, yet 20 year old instrument! Includes original hardshell case.
