Purchased new, very recently, here we have a very nice Larrivee LSV-11 from 2023. The LSV-11 is designed from the ground up to excel with fingerpicking style. This modern steel string is a players dream, based on Jean Larrivee’s classical background, the LSV-11 has a slimmed-down LS-style body and Venetian cutaway for easy upper register access. A thoughtfully wider 1 25/32-inch nut width is nice and comfortable for all types of finger style playing or simply a player with bigger hands. The Alpine "Moon" spruce top has a nicely opened resonance and plays very dynamically yet balanced. Rosewood back and sides, it has a nice three dimensional, complex tone with nice volume. Scalloped X bracing. The neck is designed with a comfortable 24.75" scale length, here with very easy low action (5/64" in height at the twelfth fret). This guitar comes to us in excellent having been played very little by the original owner. With hardly visible blemish on the top near the treble side of the bridge, this guitar is otherwise like new. A great way to save on a guitar that is otherwise over $4000. Includes the original hardshell case.
