A traditional guitar, using fine & rare tonewoods is a forever quest for many collectors and players alike. Huss & Dalton, some of the best builders in the guitar market knocked it out of the park with this OM.

While it retains traditional build elements, it features a AAA Italian Spruce soundboard bound in herringbone, and highly figured, absolutely stunning Cocobolo back & sides. The result is breathtaking, and one needs to hear it to fully understand the tonal complexity that somehow takes everything we know about spruce and rosewood combinations to the limits. Internally it features Red Spruce scalloped X bracing, with a harder thin Honduran Rosewood bridge plate - utilized for its specific tonal properties. A well engineered ebony bridge, with ebony bridge pins sporting elegant abalone dots. The lower bout measures the expected 15" with a 11 3/8" upper bout - the depth at the base at 4 1/4" and 3 5/8" in depth towards the neck joint.

The neck is made of traditional Honduran Mahogany with an ebony fingerboard with Martin influenced snowflake inlay, the neck is designed with a 25.5" scale length and 1.75" nut width. The profile is comfortable with a very soft V feel to it, with volute, lightly finished and in excellent condition virtually untouched by the original owner. The neck is straight with low action measuring about 4/64" in height at the twelfth fret - the saddle tall with about 8/64" in height above the slot. H&D branded Gotoh tuners function just as they should.

A fabulous playing and sounding instrument through and through.

Includes original hardshell case.
