A fine and original pre-war Gretsch archtop tenor guitar featuring a 16" lower bout. The body is fully bound and is finished in a rich red/brown sunburst; spruce top w/ f-holes, maple back and sides. The 3 piece maple neck has a 23" scale length ebony fingerboard w/ pointed end, and is equipped with original Grover two-tab geared tuners with replaced pearloid buttons. The tailpiece appears to have been replaces but it has it's original pick guard and bridge. 1-3/8" nut width. Finish wear is abundant with checking along with quite a few dents and scrapes, buckle rash and some light fret wear.
