From a batch of Style 6 tenor banjos made in 1929, an original 40 hole archtop Gibson TB-6, now equipped with a perfectly crafted conversion plectrum neck by Wyatt Fawley (original tenor neck included, and is unmodified but for absent tuners). The .75" thick rim assembly is all original, including gold-plated/engraved, tension hoop, tonering skirt, and tube & plate flange; oval Gibson label intact present inside, with hole from wrist mute behind armrest; checkerboard bound resonator with figured maple exterior, original chalk marks present inside (match for original tenor neck); finish scratches and playing wear present on resonator, with light tarnish on metal parts; equipped with Huber armrest. The one piece maple conversion plectrum neck has a 26-1/4" scale length fully bound and checkerboarded ebony fingerboard with pearl inlay in Hearts and Flowers pattern, with fiddle cut peghead, script Gibson logo in pearl. Includes polyfoam hard case.
