Rarely seen twelve string iteration of a Gibson's Heritage model, which was only offered for a short time early in the models initial near 20 year run. This example features a six digit B prefixed serial number, which indicates a 1974 ship date. This square shoulder dreadnaught features Indian Rosewood back and sides, with a finely grained spruce top, with black binding, large rosewood reverse belly bridge, and black pickguard; strong, double-x braced top, with large maple bridge plate (some "chew" marks from string ball ends present). The five piece mahogany neck has a 1-7/8"wide nut, 25-1/2" scale length rosewood fingerboard w/ large jumbo with little wear; large peghead with closed-back Gibson Deluxe six-per side tuning machines; faint serial number present above Made In USA stamp on back of neck. The instrument shows little playing time, with only light cosmetic wear/surface scratching present.
