The top of the line student instrument, the Estudio Model concert guitar has a robust voice, defined basses, melodic trebles and fantastic balance, all handcrafted from his studio in California.
This example features Palo Escrito Rosewood side & back with sap wood flame figure with a nice fully bound spruce soundboard. With a thinly applied lacquer finish, it has great resonance and a unique mid range that one can only call a "voice". Standard Hauser inspired fanned bracing pattern and cut kerfing. A nice looking guitar with its wood combination, it is further augmented with its traditional mosaic rosette.
It is constructed with a standard 650mm scale length and 52mm nut width. A broad shouldered neck profile, the mahogany neck is outfitted with a very nice ebony fingerboard, currently setup with lower action. Simple side dot inlay with a triangle inlay at the 7th fret.
This example comes to us in really good condition, less some small dents in its binding which are hardly noticeable. The saddle has been taken down slightly to lower the action, so one may consider replacing the saddle if needed to increase the height. This instrument was purchased new in 2022, and has overall seen light usage from its original owner.
