This violin is set up for classical playing with Dominant strings. This is a very good student violin. It is a Stainer copy made in Germany for export. The violin has a wide grained spruce top and plain, 2-piece back. The fingerboard is dyed maple. It has been outfitted with new pegs and has one repaired top crack. The tone is full and bright. It comes with an older hard case. This one is ready to go!
