A blast from the Victorian Past! This banjo was made by the Gatcomb company in Boston, MA. The banjo itself is in great shape. The calfskin head has no rips or tears. The fifth string peg has been replaced with a friction tuner, but a later one. The friction tuners in the peg head work perfectly. 25 inch scale length, 11 inch head and 17 frets make this a perfect old time or classic style banjo. Chipboard case included.
