The Super Reverb is a powerful well equipped combo amp suitable for a number of styles and genres. This example dates to 1968 and features the classic AB763 circuit, along with the super cool drip edge styling. Nice and clean, but capable of a nice light tube overdrive when cranked, this amp covers virtually all of the basses. It has found favor with guitarists in every style of music, being spotted on stage with the likes of Jonny Greenwood, Lee Renaldo, and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

This Super Reverb comes to us in very good condition, with light wear throughout as to be expected with an amp of this age. Some light pitting is present on the kickback legs and hardware, but the faceplate and back plates are both fairly clean. The tube chart is sadly ripped, but the remaining pieces are still present. Casters have also been installed, surely a guarantee of less trips to the chiropractor.

Internally the amp is very original, with every upgrade you could ask for. The power cord has been replaced with a nice, long, and properly earthed 3 prong cable. The filter and cathode bypass caps have been replaced, making it have a very low noise floor, and totally stable for the next gig or studio session. The tubeset is a nice mix of older Sylvania, GE, Telefunken, Westinghouse, and Sovtek tubes. The cabinet comes equipped with the original set of 4 blue label Fender Special Design speakers. They sound balanced, smooth, and robust in a way you only see in old, played in speakers.

This is an excellent piece of yesteryear looking for a new home.
