One of the most coveted amps in history, here we have a rare bird in superb shape, a 1967 Fender Princeton Reverb. This Black Face wonder has become a flagship for Fender as being a "perfect amp", desired by many players and engineers alike for it's low wattage breakup. Rated for 15 watts, and through a single 10" Jensen speaker, the Princeton breaks up at an ideal spot volume wise making it the perfect amp for studio work. It's small size and forgiving weight also made these amps a popular choice for many gigging and touring musicians alike.

This amp has seen some routine maitnence which includes the addition of an earthed, 3 prong power cord and replacement of the filter and cathode bypass capacitors. Curiously, instead of replacing the filter cap can the tech chose another route - installing a doghouse salvaged on the outside of the chasis - salvaged from another Fender amp. This work was expertly performed and is clean as can be - with an excellent selection of Ruby and Sprague caps. Some of the filter caps have been increased in value, which has no effect on the amp's performance. We have never seen such a modification on a Princeton Reverb before, but surely this will ease in any future service.

The original footswitch is included in the sale.

Take home one of the finest amps every made - today!
