A slightly modernized take on a vintage classic. The Fender Stratocaster knows all genres of music well, but maybe succeeds best within the context of music realized in the 50's and 60's at the dawn of these fine guitars. Bell like highs that both cut leads and support with rhythm - it makes sense that so many players would find inspiration in the form of a Stratocaster. This example is from the well regarded Player II lineup, which puts vintage aesthetics forward, while also boasting some modern details. A stunning "Aquatone" blue finish is a new one that looks like it belongs in a 50's car catalog. Three ply white pickguard hosts 3 Alnico V pickups, which sound great in each position. A two point tremolo system is a bit on the modern side, but feels great with even balance and control, from subtle to dive bombs. This example comes with a maple neck which is in great shape, nice and straight with low action and clean frets. The forward thinking 9.5 radius functions well with the slick satin finish. Kluson style tuners, and your ready to rip. Used, this guitar is in excellent shape, having only been purchased last year, and used sparingly. No case.
