A nicely priced 50's style Stratocaster, built with the likes of one of the best in mind, Eric Clapton. This example comes to us in great condition, having been used sparingly by the original owner. A solid setup with a nice like new Maple neck with no fret wear. The action is light, measuring in at about 4-5/64" in height at the twelfth fret with no issues. In Clapton's favor, this has a nice soft V profile a "chunky-er" feel, that measures .86" with a slight taper only up to about .89" in thickness at the twelfth fret. Original Fender Noiseless Strat pickups sound fantastic and provide the bell tone we all know and love - while being a clean machine, they cut nicely with some overdrive without all the excess noise. The iconic "Blackie" finish with the three ply pearl guard is classic and appropriate for any occasion The satin'd neck will wear over time and grow with the player, again having hardly been used thus far.
