Being sold "As Is", this Luthier Special would be a good spot for anyone who's looking to have a project to explore neck resets. The basic Fender model DG-14 features a solid spruce top with laminate nato wood back & sides. This particular guitar is cosmetically in good shape, but could otherwise use some TLC. The top has began sinking, resulting in a poor neck angle. One might investigate regluing the braces, practice for taking necks off, or simply to have a canvas for an otherwise wall hanger. While this guitar functions okay in the first position, it would be a tough one for a beginner to otherwise learn on.
