The Fender American Professional line of instruments embellish some of the specs of the product line, designed for the modern player, but seen here in a visually appropriate manner for those looking for a classic black-guard. The American Professional II Telecaster features the comfortable contoured neck heel, a top loading bridge with excellent compensated brass saddles, and a deep D profile neck - reminiscent of a vintage type feel, here with comfortable rolled fingerboard/fret edges. Certainly one of the favored necks from Fender in modern times. While these guitars are outfitted with a treble bleed circuit and a more traditional electronics setup, this example, comes to us with a well upgraded DiMarzio Chopper T bridge pickup. In doing this modification, the previous owner had removed the tone control for less capacitance. One could relatively easily bring this back to original intentions, and the original pickup is included with the sale. This guitar is sold without a case. Aside from the modifications, the guitar is in great shape with a straight neck, clean frets, and low action!
