The early 90's led a huge resurgence in the electric guitar, thanks to the grunge movement. Fender held up their end of the deal, and continued to produce great instruments - including one of Jonny Greenwoods favorites - the Telecaster.
This example appears to have a one piece alder body. The poly burst finish looks good and only has light surface level wear present. Original pickups and electronics are present and fully functional with pot codes dating to '93, the tone being a well loved MDX tone control - the center detent fairly worn in. Original pickups have a nice bite and balanced tone - suitable for rock, twang, country, soul - whatever your heart desires. The pickguard is slightly discolored.
This example has a 60's style neck with a slab rosewood fingerboard and 22 frets. While the fingerboard is a bit beat from big bends, the frets themselves are actually very clean. The neck plays great with low action, about 4-5/64" in height at the twelfth fret. There's a little bit of rust on the height adjustment screws at the saddles, but all is functional. This neck also features the convenient micro tilt adjustment for neck angle changes.
Includes original molded plastic hardshell case!
