Eastman's top of the line offering in their mandolin department, this is a spectacular MD915 model in a nice "vintage" blonde finish, that in every way competes with instruments 2 or 3 times its price in tone and looks. Entirely hand carved, the F style body was made using highly flamed maple, with an Adirondack spruce top; fully bound in tortoise, and equipped with Eastman's cast aluminum tailpiece, with adjustable compensated ebony bridge with 1-5/8" spacing. The flamed maple neck features an extended ebony fingerboard w/ 12" radius, 13-7/8" nut width, and is fully bound in tortoise; abalone position dots present on board, with Eastman logo and flower pot present in abalone on peghead face; equipped with bone nut w/ 1-3/32" width, and Gotoh MF40R-MP-NI tuners.
