This marvelous banjo was made by Dobson in NYC sometime in the late 1860s. This particular banjo has a very nice flower inlay on the fingerboard made out of different colored wooden inserts. The banjo itself is in amazing condition and looks brand new. The original friction pegs work perfectly with the Aquila nylon strings that are currently set up on the instrument. It is in minstrel tuning dGDF#A.
