This example is fine structural condition, but shows cosmetic wear throughout, notably on the neck; finish has bubbled and checked on either side of fretboard and notably on back of peghead near bottom edge, numerous scratches are present on the peghead's face, with a larger area of wear/touchup present on the back of the neck extending from the volute; mild pitting is present on frets beneath A/E strings. The carved F style body has a tortoise bound wide grained spruce top with gloss finish, bound ebony pickguard, with gorgeous two-piece flamed maple back; exceptionally well-carved scroll; equipped with adjustable ebony bridge. Matching flamed maple neck, with radiused & extended ebony fingerboard, 13-7/8" scale length, with 1-1/8" wide nut; vintage soft V profile makes this a joy to play, commanding the tonal seas.
