The MF is a stunning F style mandolin by Collings of Austin TX. With a fully carved/individually voiced Adirondack spruce top in natural finish, and high-grade maple back and sides, the MF is built with the same quality construction as the maker's fully-appointed models. These instruments produce the rich, woody tone that one would expect from a professional quality mandolin, and are a dream to play. From the original owner, only a small finish blemish on side of fingerboard near first fret, driver's side.
