This is a very early A. C. Fairbanks Electric with rarely seen large sized 11-1/2" diameter spun over rim and scalloped tone ring; all hardware is original including early No Knot, and short hooks/nuts. The "Electric" was introduced in 1890 and was so dubbed due to its "electrifying" sound; this model has no Style designation. The mahogany neck has a 27" scale, very fancy early style pearl inlay and carved heel; some light forward relief present. 1-1/4" nut width. The neck was likely refretted at some point, and is sadly missing one small piece of pearl on the 7th fret.
