Perfectly executed early Brooks V. Masten banjo, that we first sold in 2006 shortly after it was built. Featuring an extremely solid 11-5/8 inch diameter spun over rim with rolled tonering, and gorgeous flamed maple interior and set up with a calf skin head. The one piece neck is of flamed walnut and came from an old rifle blank; equipped with a thick, 25-3/4" scale fretted ebony fingerboard and five star tuners on the Buckbee peghead shape with Indian head penny inlaid into peghead. Condition wise, lovely looking tarnish and brassing has occured, with light pitting on the frets. This is a heavy banjo, but it is a quality one. The sound is tremendous and it feels great in the hands as well.
