A jaw dropping modern flat-top resophonic guitar, Beard's A-Odyssey model expertly blends modern and vintage sensibilities, high-grade materials and workmanship, culminating in a unique tonal experience supported by buttery playability. The mini-jumbo non-cutaway body has a gently arched back, Selmer style soundhole, 15" lower bout, 4" depth, is fully bound and trimmed in curly maple, with mahogany back and sides, wide grained spruce top, and was built with an ingenious bass reflex baffle uniting the upper and lower bouts; equipped with a 9" #14 spider bridge, Beard Legend Cone, Beard chrome tailpiece and Solar coverplate. The set-neck has a 25" scale length, mahogany construction, bound and extended 25" scale ebony fingerboard, 1-3/4" wide bone nut, and is equipped with Waverly open back tuners. Gently used and hardly played, the gloss finish hardly has a scratch on it, and the frets have little to no pitting present. Includes original hard shell case, with warranty card; equipped with a Jerry Douglas "JD" pickup.
