Elegantly simple but sturdy and reliable for any style of playing. This is an ORIGINAL Bacon and Day five string banjo from the early 1920s. it features, a maple neck and resonator which are finished in the style of the Silver Bell banjos. The tonering is a simple" little wonde" style with a hoop and skirt over the maple rim. The resonators attaches from a single bolt in the back and has round wall flange. This is a beautiful player with a new Kerschner style tail piece and geared fifth peg…. Other than that it is perfectly original extremely clean, easy playing and a fine instrument for a variety of playing styles.
