Nice early example of a Sultana plectrum, made just a couple years after the model was introduced in 1929, sporting lots of fancy, yet economical, pyralin. The 11" diameter rim assembly features all original hardware including Oettinger tailpiece and soft medal mute, with some wear on plating (very present on armrest); the resonator has a two step flange with f-hole cutouts, with matching silver paint; light tarnish and deplating to metal on rez and discoloration present on back. The five piece maple plectrum neck has a 26" scale length pryalin fingerboard with engraved/traced decorations all down the board; smaller, earlier peghead shape, with long backstrap, and matching heel cap; lots of finish checking present on over pearloid, with some play wear on back of neck and top of peghead/on overlay; equipped with a nice set of pre-war Planets w/ Catalin buttons. Includes recent TKL hard case.
