Formed in 1971 by Forrest White and Tom Walker (and Leo Fender as a silent partner) Music Man became known for their modern and cutting edge guitar and bass designs. Along with the guitars, they also launched a line of solid state and tube hybrid amplifiers.
The 100RP is a 100 watt amplifier head the comes equipped with Reverb and Phasor, hence RP. Treble boost, bass boost, a three band EQ, and line inputs and outputs round out this versatile amplifier, which could be used for guitar, keyboards, or studio applications. Master volume control enables you to set a nice crunchy tone by driving the pre-amp.
This 100RP had it's phasor rate knob upgraded to the push/pull knob when it was purchased new. This control was only available in the 75/150 series, and allows you to disable the automatic sweep and manually set the phasor filter with the rate knob. This can be very useful for parked wah effects, filtering, or automatic phasing by hand.
The 210RH Cabinet is a 2x10" configuration, loaded with two Music Man 10" speakers. This cabinet was usually paired with the 150 series amps and is an excellent companion for the 100RP head.
This amp has been well cared for over the years, and is in exceptional cosmetic and working condition. Original period Music Man catalog included in the sale, with some hand written notes throughout. Schematics also included. The orignal Music Man footswitch for the Reverb and Phasor is also included.
This would make an excellent amplifier for the studio or stage, with many sounds and features from the larger Music Man amps in a manageable package.
