Paris Texas is a duo featuring guitarist Bobby Henrie with Rick Manning on mandolin and mandolin.  Bobby and Rick play an energetic mix of traditional bluegrass, western swing and Parisian string swing music.  Bobby's virtuosic playing is perhaps best known through his rockabilly band Bobby Henrie and the Goners and the Djangoners, playing the music of Django Reinhardt.  However his bluegrass roots run deep from his younger days performing with the Henrie Brothers and he has a particular affinity for the music of Doc Watson which is prominantly featured in Paris Texas.    Rick Manning is a multi-instrumentalist who performs with Cornerstone, the Contradictions, Grietzer Hodson Manning, and Paris Texas.  He learned to love bluegrass and western swing while living in Austin Texas in the early 1980's.  Rick is the founder of the Winter Village Bluegrass Festival in Ithaca NY.
