A very fine ukulele by renowned builder, William King. With an eye for detail, and vintage sensibilities we are happy to have this Concert example dating to 2009. A nicely darkened cedar top has light weight fan bracing internally, and features a really nice multi ply binding, with a stripe of red stained maple, natural maple and abalone - matching its rosette. It has a thin ebony bridge with matching pins fitted with MOP dots. The neck is designed with a 15" scale length with ab ebony fingerboard. Thoughtful and well functioning peg heads tuners hide their internal gears - a nice nod to yesteryear, with modern tuning stability. Aesthetically this ukulele is in great shape from the original owner with only very mild surface wear present (namely on its back, which is hardly noticeable amongst the nice flamed koa). Easy to play with low action and a straight neck, this could easily become the favorite of the collection.
