Introduced in the early 1990's, the Warwick Corvette is a streamlined low-end machine, used by many and recognized as a flagship for the brand. A nice flat body, and a bolt on neck - the economical design poses as a great alternative for those looking for the vibe and tone this brand is known for at a reduced cost.
This example dates to 2005 and comes to us in great condition both in playability and cosmetically. This one has a swamp ash body, hosting Warwicks heavy duty hardware, including its adjustable bridge and MEC pickups - offering up a nice thumpy bottom, retaining punch and high end - all with a slightly reduced weight from its Bubinga counterpart. Passive, this has controls for Volume, pickup balance, and a single tone control. This has some simple scratches on its back, but nothing too troubling.
Fretless, long 34" scale, this bolt on neck is in good condition yielding easy playability. Upgraded Hipshot tuners, it includes the originals. Strap lock buttons have been added, with the locks included in the sale in the original gig bag.
Weighs 10lbs.
