Early, original Vega Pete Seeger model from ca. 1960 with Tubaphone tonering, and dowel stick....with some upgrades! Rim assembly has all original hardware, stamps, armrest, and label; in good shape, some wear on black paint exterior and rim cap; equipped with punched fifth period era Presto tailpiece. The three piece maple neck has a 32-1/4 scale length ebony fingerboard with added herringbone binding, and delicate added pearl inlay, with extremely interesting sliding brass fifth string capo which rides via a narrow slot in finggerboard; equipped with Kluson Deluxe tuners and two Keith tuners (originals in case pocket); some wear to back of neck, surface scratching, and hairline stress cracks on bottom edge of heel. Included in sale is original hard shell case by Lifton. Nice straight neck plays well with rich tone!
