Conversion to five string utilizing an original 10-1/8" diameter Vega Little Wonder banjo mandolin rim assembly and a NOS Eastman Whyte Laydie neck from their original production run. The rim is all original, equipped with a No Knot reproduction tailpiece, and Renaissance head; only light cosmetic scuffs and scrapes present. The 26" scale Eastman neck is a perfect reproduction of an earlier Fairbanks Whyte Laydie No. 2, including inlay, three piece maple construction, and profile. A nice lightweight option, with a surprisingly loud rolled tonering, we are including the original mandolin neck and hard case at no additional cost.
