Very rare..this is an unsigned Six string top-tensioning internal resonator banjo that shares several design elements to banjos made by George Teed and early Buckbee patent resonator banjos. The rim assembly is housed within a deep wooden resonator that simultaneously acts as a rim; gorgeous marquetry present throughout back and sides; original hardware including taipiece. The mahogany neck has a lightly ornamented fretted rosewood fingerboard; five Champion pegs present on peghead, and one on side. Normal cosmetic wear present, no notable cracks or repairs present.
